Most of what I needed to know came from other comments on this site. A 1996 installed Appalachian brand fireplace. Not sure why your motors do not come with rubber grommets installed, or as an available option. I had to take the old ones out with a lot of care. I do like that the new motor did not require oiling every 6 months. There were no instructions that came with the motor. I was able to get the new motor in, but I did have to drill one additional hole, as the three brackets that came on the new motor, did not line up with the holes of the previous motor. 2 of the holes did line up however. I only had to cut one wire from the previous motor, as the other wire connections had slip on/slip off type connections. Overall, the sales people were very knowledgeable and friendly. Overall, the company is great and I would happily use them again.

If rubber (anti-vibration) grommet holes are not same size as original motor, you should include replacement grommets with motor purchase. Excellent motor. Original & replacement both made in Mexico; first one lasted 20 years.
