CatGard ™ combustor gasketing. Also, referred to as interam wrap by Condar. This piece of gasket is 1" wide and 40" long.

When removing your combustor for annual inspection, you will typically see the gasket has turned fragile and it may crumble. During the life of your combustor, it is normal to need to replace the gasket several times depending on stove design and usage. Because of this, we recommend buying one or two spare gaskets for use as the old gasketing wears out.

The golden flecks you see CatGard™ brand gasketing is the mineral mica. Which permanently expands up to twice it's size once heated in a woodstove helping seat your combustor firmly in place and preventing smoke from leaking around it.

Due to it's delicate nature once heated, all combustor gasketing tends to become very fragile, crumble and flake when touched or removed and unfortunately it is one of the few items we offer that has no warranty.
