Easy to order, good price, hard to install |

Webb site is very easy to find your required parts. I have this one book marked for the future. This part is a hard install due to the very limited space above the blower unit. Hard to get to the top screw (only two screws to install). It will require a small ratchet for tight spaces sold at Home Depot (#165-152). You still need a star type blade #T20 in a 1/2 " and 1-1/2" size to do the job. This is the second one I have installed in this stove over 5 years. It takes about 45 minutes if you have the proper tools.

Like a charm! |

After nearly five years igniter went .on my Enviro Empress. The folks at Mountain View Hearth Products were very helpful in telling me what I needed to replace, as I was only guessing.
Some very kind reviewer wrote about the special small ratchet needed to replace the igniter, and since the local repair place was going to charge $220 to do the job I figured I'd at least try.
So got the ratchet wrench set from Home Depot. One reviewer said the job would take 45 minutes. I was ready to devote twice that time, given my aptitude, but instead found that I finished in 30 minutes! And the hardest part was getting the screws back in the new part, there just isn't much room in there, and it's hard to see! A good light, some flexibility, and the right tool is all I needed.
Screwed in new igniter, plugged in the two wires, plugged the stove back in, and it fired right up. It's been running a week now with no problems.
