Lopi & Avalon Convection Blower (250-00589 / 98900755A)

$210.00

OEM replacement convection blower for Lopi and Avalon pellet and gas stoves, also called the room air distribution fan. This blower pulls room air across the heat exchanger and pushes the warmed air back into your living space. It does not handle exhaust — that's the combustion blower.

Travis part # 250-00589 or 250-03861. Replaces Avalon & Lopi part # 98900755A.

Not sure if this is your blower?

Go by your appliance's brand and model, not by the number printed on the blower itself. That number belongs to the motor manufacturer, not to Travis Industries, and it won't match anything in your parts list. This is a genuine OEM blower built specifically for the models listed above.

Your model and serial number are on a metal tag. For pellet stoves, this is usually under the hopper lid. On a gas unit, you'll find it on the rear or behind the bottom louvers, near the gas valve. If you don't see your model listed, or you're not sure which one you have, contact our techs or call 406-272-9850. We'd rather spend two minutes confirming fitment than have you install a blower that voids your warranty.

Signs your convection blower needs replacing

  • Weak or reduced airflow from the stove even at high heat settings
  • Grinding, squealing, or rattling noise during operation
  • Blower starts and stops intermittently, or won't start at all
  • Stove runs hot or trips a high-limit snap disc from poor air movement

Before replacing, clean the blower impeller fins with a dry paintbrush or compressed air. Dust buildup throws the fan out of balance, causing noise and airflow loss that can look like motor failure.
