Warranty Coverage
Most parts sold by Mountain View Hearth Products include a manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty periods and coverage vary depending on the brand and product type.
- Aftermarket parts typically include a 12-month warranty, while some select parts carry an 18-month warranty.
- For OEM parts, the manufacturer's warranty applies, and terms vary by brand.

What the Warranty Covers
Warranties cover defects in materials and workmanship. If a part fails due to a manufacturing defect, it may qualify for a replacement.
Examples of defects covered under warranty:
- A blower motor failing under normal use
- A circuit board that does not power on
- An auger shaft breaking under normal operation
- A blower wheel melting or cracking without external damage
Examples of issues not covered under warranty:
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage due to incorrect installation or improper wiring
- Glass breakage during installation
- Damage caused by power surges, modification, or external factors
How to File a Warranty Claim
If you believe you have received a defective part, please follow these steps:
- Submit a claim using our Warranty Claim Form, or contact us by phone or email.
- Provide the following details:
- Your order number
- The model and serial number of your appliance
- A detailed description of the issue
- Photos or videos of the defect, if applicable
- Follow troubleshooting steps.
- Our team may ask you to perform basic troubleshooting or test the part outside of the appliance to confirm the defect.
Warranty Limitations & Exclusions
Warranty coverage does not apply in cases of:
- Improper installation, misuse, or modification of the product
- Damage from power surges, improper wiring, or user error
- Normal wear and tear, including dirt buildup or environmental damage
- Fire, flooding, or other natural disasters
- Any installation performed in a way that does not follow the manufacturer’s guidelines
Mountain View Hearth Products is not responsible for labor costs, service fees, or incidental expenses related to the installation or removal of a defective part. Warranty replacements do not include shipping costs unless otherwise specified.

- Warranty claims are processed through the manufacturer or distributor, depending on the brand. Processing times vary.
- If a part is not covered under warranty, replacement parts must be purchased at full cost.
- If troubleshooting determines that a part is not defective, the claim will be denied.
